From Old Tracks to New Gains: Training Hidden Gems in Mexico City - Reflo

Mexico City pulses with energy, culture, and movement, and we found the perfect hidden spots to put our training to the test. From sprinting down a repurposed 1900s railway track in Polanco to tackling an intense session at UnderCover CrossFit, this city proved that movement thrives in the most unexpected places.

A Track from the Past, A Training Ground for the Future

Our morning started on a historic railway line, once bustling with locomotives, now transformed into an open-air fitness hub. With dedicated running and cycling lanes, street workout stations, and a constant buzz of movement, this space is proof that urban landscapes can evolve to encourage more people to get active.

As the sun rose over the city, we joined runners pacing the length of the track, cyclists weaving through the streets, and locals using every inch of space to move, train, and challenge themselves.

Underground Vibes at UnderCover CrossFit

From the streets to the gym, we pushed the limits at UnderCover CrossFit, a no-nonsense training space built on grit, sweat, and community. Olympic lifts, rowing intervals, box jumps, it was a WOD that left nothing in the tank.

With raw energy and an epic mix of equipment, it’s a place where training is about more than just breaking a sweat, it’s about pushing your own limits alongside others who live for the same challenge.

Safe to say, we earned our tacos that day!
