When you think of Mexico, your mind goes straight to vibrant music, mouthwatering tacos, and world-class tequila. But beyond the bustling streets and rich cultural heritage, there’s a growing passion for golf, and some incredible courses waiting to be discovered. We discovered a hidden gem designed by the legendary golf course architect, Pete Dye. Introducing Sante Fe Social Club, outside Mexico City.
People pay hundreds if not thousands to play Pete Dye courses - but we called up some friends to join us on a course that costs just under $40 USD for a round - Santa Fe Social Club. A public course which offers breathtaking natural surroundings, a challenging layout, and an authentic sun drenched Mexican golfing experience. Pete Dye's designs are amongst the very best in the world, and this course featured his classic intimidating tee shots, iconic small greens and a combination of short yet testing par 4s.
The vibes were higher than the standard and sure, we hit a few wayward shots, but when the sun’s shining and incredible tacos are waiting at the clubhouse, the experience feels far more important that the scores. Eduardo and Nicolaus took the bragging rights this time, but the only thing that matters are the cold cervezas and the stories you’ll be telling long after the final hole.
If you're searching for sustainable style ahead of taking to the course when the warm weather does finally return, then check out our Spring Summer 25 Collection, designed to keep you cool on the and off the course.
