From Race Suit to Dog Bed: How We Upcycled for Jake Dennis & Billy at the Monaco E-Prix 🐾⚡

What do you get when you combine one of Formula E’s top drivers, his four-legged best friend, and a bunch of old race suits? At Reflo, the answer was simple: a custom dog bed made from upcycled Andretti Formula E kit.

During the iconic Monaco E-Prix, we teamed up with Jake Dennis and his trusty sidekick, Billy, to bring a little light-hearted fun and show just how creative our sustainable innovations can be.

VIP Treatment for a Very Important Pooch

But this wasn’t just about giving Billy the VIP treatment (though, let’s be honest, he totally deserves it). It was about showcasing how Reflo’s sustainable solutions can stop even more old race gear being destined for landfill. Thanks to our team’s upcycling expertise and our partner, Circular Inc, we transformed Jake’s past-season race suits into a first of its kind dog bed, designed for comfort, durability, and most importantly—purpose.

Billy approved. Tail wag guaranteed. Undeniable High paw-formance.

Why We Did It

At Reflo, we’re not just here to make sustainable performancewear, we’re here to rethink how products live on after the final whistle (or chequered flag). This small but mighty project is a playful example of what’s possible when you combine innovative materials, circular thinking, and a willingness to do things a little differently.

This upcycled dog bed is part of a wider journey we’re on with Andretti Formula E to make teamwear more sustainable. Currently, 100% of their kit is made from recycled materials. In Season 12, we’ll be launching a brand-new range of Reloop ready apparel—meaning key items won’t just be made from recycled materials, they’ll be fully recyclable at the end of their life. Yes, even after the final podium champagne has been popped.

Keep an eye out on our channels for a limited Andretti Formula E x Reflo drop coming soon. You’d be barking mad to miss it!
